Master Candlemaker Bob Tamblin has been creating candles for 30 years. Born and raised in Negaunee, Michigan (a Yooper, eh!), Bob graduated from Columbia Hospital School of Radiologic Technology in Milwaukee. While there, he discovered the Artisan District on the east side of Milwaukee. Located on the famous Brady Street, Bob remembers it as the place where all the hippies hung out. |

One particular candle store caught Bob's eye. The "Black Smith and Son" was the inspiration for his lifelong passion for candlemaking.
Thirty years later, Bob and his wife Mary live in Princeton, Wisconsin, where he works as an X-Ray Technician by night and creates candles by day. In 2002, the couple built a candle shop on their property. The shop is open by appointment and by chance, with weekend hours September through December. You may see Bob at flea markets, craft fairs and community events. Contact Bob at 920.295.4904 or email rmtamblin@charter.net.
